I do not believe in a one size fits all approach to coaching; every individual has unique needs based on their current level of fitness, goals, and life circumstances (work, family, etc.). I strive to meet people where they are and work with you to develop a realistic program that meets your needs while fitting in to your life.

  • 30 minute virtual consultation to discuss your goals and running/training background

  • Regular check-ins to gauge your progress, see what’s working and what isn’t and adjust your program as needed, as many times as needed

WHY USE A COACH?

We know there are A LOT of great plans out there on the Internet, and many of them may work for you and your goals.

However, there are also A LOT of plans out there on the Internet, and knowing which one will work best for you can be challenging. No two runners are alike, and plans on the Internet don’t make adjustments based on your unique and evolving needs.

Using a coach can help remove some of the guesswork, enable you to better understand what all those numbers and workouts on a calendar mean, and help you make adjustments where, when, why, and as needed based on your situation.

There are many variables that can effect running, and having someone who understands you and how those factors impact your journey, and who can re-assure you when things are challenging can go a long way to improving your chances of success at a given goal or race. But don’t just take my word for it.

A FEW NOTES ON PERSONAL COACHING

  • Coaching plans are provided on a month-to-month basis. I do not plan your entire program in advance because there are far too many variables week-to-week and month-to-month, and depending on your goals, multiple months of custom coaching may be needed to reach them.
    • For example, a typical half marathon training plan is 12-16 weeks in length, so four months of custom coaching may be needed to get you to your target race.
  • Life happens! Don’t stress, let’s talk! Many people encounter unexpected life hurdles (family illness, career change, you name it!), but I am here to help guide you as best we can around those hurdles to achieve your goals through expectation setting and creating manageable plans for your individual needs. We believe in adapting to, re-calibrating for, and overcoming each challenge as it presents itself.
  • Refunds: Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
